The Village Cup located in Jericho, VT is the perfect vision of a Vermont breakfast place. The restaurant is a bit confusing; as you walk in you are greeter by a hostess (usually) and you can either be seated at one of the tables, or order from their extensive beverage list and get a pastry to go. My company and I opted to sit down at a table and try the menu. We were seated at a very small table near the small fireplace but the gorgeous picturesque window overlooking the backyard and the mountains. As stated, the tables are small and very close together - something that we morning people are not very happy with before our first cup of coffee in the morning. The multiple times I have been here, the service has not been very good and this morning was no exception. Our waitress was a young girl who never told us the specials and barely paid attention as we ordered our beverages.
