Pops - Boston, MA

Pops was a spur of the moment "pop in". I was meeting a friend for some munchies and drinks and it had tables outside and was right in front of you when you leave South Station. I had heard good things about their happy hour specials as well as their bar menu so we thought we should try it out.  We ordered the Margherita flatbread, the street cart fries with cheese and bechamel (sans duck confit), the rice balls, and the stuffed mushrooms.$11 for a flatbread smaller than a salad plate, unacceptable but for half the price, it was worth trying out. We also had ordered dessert and it was delicious but I cannot remember exactly what it was so I will not bore you with those details. The food was amazing but the drinks small, weak (not properly made), and expensive. The worst part, we received our bill and none of the appetizers were half off. We spoke up to our waitress, who seemed less than cordial, and she said the discount is placed when you receive your bill and no
